(Iso Butyl Alcohol/IBA) Isobutanol is a colorless, flammable liquid with a characteristic odour. With its isomers, n-butanol, 2-butanol and tert-butanol, it has an important place in the industry. It is a very common solvent used both directly and in the form of its esters. It has less density than water, however its smoke is denser than air.
