Explanation
It is designed for people to evacuate buildings safely in case of fire. It allows escape for the first 10 minutes*, then it closes, preventing the fire from spreading and growing between the spaces. They have fire resistances ranging from 30 minutes to 240 minutes. It can be applied with different working methods according to the building feature, such as bladed, shutter type, guillotine and sliding. Fire doors have been tested according to EN norms from internationally accredited laboratories and certified for the relevant fire resistance period. On each door, there should be an internationally valid certificate plate containing the test report information about the fire resistance class, production date and serial number of the door.
