Rotary dryers are used for product drying in mine, asphalt, cement and similar processes. Dryers work with liquid or gaseous fuels to remove moisture from materials. They are designed according to the physical and chemical properties of the material, whether the flame contacts the material or not. A rotary dryer is a device that uses rotation, gravity, and hot gases to dry a material. These dryers range from small household clothes dryers to large industrial systems. Regardless of their size, most rotary dryers work the same way. The hot gases allow it to dry quickly as the drum rotates and moves the material. The main distinction in these dryers is the type of gases used and the method used to generate heat.
