With exploration of oil in Gujarat in the early sixties, an industrial base is firmly laid in the region. Gujarat Refinery is instrumental in giving rise to IPCL, GSFC, Petrofils, Gujarat Alkalies & chemicals Ltd. and Calico Polyester, Fiber etc. Engineering industries like ABB, FAG, Sayaji Iron, Hindustan Motors, Star Steel, Punjab Rolling Mills, Gujarat Cycles etc. also develop around Baroda. We take great pleasure to be one of the small part of the great industrial units existing in Baroda. S.G.Enterprises was incorporated in May 1993.
