In 2005, Yuanda steel was invested and founded, with the full introduction of steel production equipment from Germany with high input and great access into the steel board industry. With an area of over 600 mu, a registered capital of RMB 60 million and more than 600 employees, it integrates research, production, and operation, has China's most advanced seven production lines of pickling, cold-rolled board, hot-DIP galvanized board, prepainted steel board, etc. and is one of the steel producers with the production capacity up to 1 million tons in North China. The galvanized board production line is the first to assort with finishing machine among China's private enterprises, uses the most internationally advanced galvanizing process, and employs the Germany automatic DC and corrective control systems. In March 2010, Yuanda and an enterprise directly under central management - China First Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. entered into a strategic cooperation about the establishment of a new project with an annual output of 1 million tons. It is under the substantive construction and will be put into operation in October 2011. The project is the first to have the independent integration of full range of cold rolling equipment in Binzhou, and achieves the historic leap of board from the construction sector to the home appliances and automotive sectors.
