We export a wide range of botanical plants, herbs, spices and dried fruits, all wild harvested and hand-picked directly from their wild natural sources, our beautiful flora and rich natural diversity of Albania . These include common herbs such as: Chamomile , Sage, Savory , Lavender , Raspberry, Horsetail , Blackberry Leaves, Wild Bilberry, Oregano, St John’s Wort, Red Clover, Elder flowers & berries , Juniper Berries, Lemon Balm leaf, Dandelion Leaf & Root, Nettle Leaf & Root, and many more. BioAlb CO, since it was established in 2009, has been involved in sustainable development and has taken special care to preserve the sources of raw materials. Traditionally Albania exports unprocessed dried herbs in bulk, which are usually treated and re-packaged abroad. These processed wild plants are then used in the food industry for herbal teas, as additives in food preparations, sold in markets in form of edible spices, extracted for essential oils or used in beverage industry, healthcare, cosmetics and perfumes. Albania’s main prides are sage, Juniper, oregano, thyme and savory, which are exported in huge quantities abroad. Sage is the queen of all medicinal herbs. Albania is one of the largest international suppliers of Sage to the USA.
