Chahia is a major player in the sector of breeding, slaughtering, cutting, packaging and distribution of high quality poultry in Tunisia. Present on the market for more than 20 years, we offer our customers a wide range of high quality products that have been repeatedly recognized as "Flavors of the Year" by independent consumer juries: Eggs Pickled Frozen and breaded frozen foods Deli meats Chicken and turkey meat Our founding values based on innovation and quality of service as well as our rigorous policy in particular as regards the respect of the international standards of hygiene enabled us to influence the habits of consumption in Tunisia and to acquire a clientele more and more extended from the south to the north of the country. Chahia currently has 5 slaughterhouses spread over the entire national territory and plans to further develop its network to get closer to its customers. It has more than 1200 employees including 120 executives (veterinarians, engineers, senior technicians and quality controllers). Our slaughterhouses are subject, in a regular way, to a veterinary sanitary control concerning the conditions of hygiene and safety of the foodstuffs what allowed us to have the sanitary approval for our main production units. We also have a halal certificate for our entire production process.
