Yemen Company for Industry and Commerce

The Yemeni Company for Industry and Trade is considered the first industrial company for the private sector in Yemen. It was established by Hayel Saeed Anam & Partners group of companies in 1970 with the aim of building a production base in the country and providing the community’s consumer needs in addition to creating new job opportunities that keep pace with the qualitative and quantitative development in education outputs. The company started its production activity on September 30, 1971, with two production lines for the biscuit and sweets industry, with a production capacity of 8,500 tons per year, and a workforce of 120 workers.
